Troubleshoong
If you noce that the device does not work properly, check the following examples and soluons, as it does not
necessarily means a failure, and you can perform the analysis yourself. If you have any quesons or concerns, please
contact an authorised service centre.
The device does not ignite the arc
The device does not switch on
Too low or too high voltage supplying the device
The welding wire does not extend
Device overload
No shielding gas flow
The fan does not start
- Check the connecon of the working cables to the welding device.
- Check the fastening of welding gun elements (disks, contact ps, connectors, welding electrode).
- Check the electrical cables, power plug, extension cord.
- Check the electrical mains protecon.
Too low voltage is usually caused by too many devices connected to the installaon within one switching staon. Too
high voltage results from an installaon that uses addional energy sources, such as photovoltaics.
Check and adjust the welding current sengs. In this case, the device needs me to cool the components to the correct
temperature. Do not turn off the device, the fan must run.
The device is equipped with the FAN STOP funcon – the fan switches on when welding. If the cooling fan does not start
during welding, contact the service centre.
- Check the type and pressure of the wire feeder rollers.
- Check the wire feeder insert in the welding gun.
- Check if the gas is in the cylinder and if the control valve is open.
- Check the correct operaon of the solenoid valve.
