1. GENERAL INFORMATION
Read the following instructions for use care-
fully and observe the safety instructions and
warnings.
The SPINEFITTER by SISSEL
®
Linum is a Hot/
Cold pack filled with linseed for targeted,
local heat or cold treatment of the muscles in
the spinal column.
As a medical device, it is mainly sold to medi-
cal professionals or professional users.
Professional users are persons who, due to
their medical or comparable training, have
sufficient knowledge regarding the conditions
to be treated or avoided with the product.“
The product and accessories may only be
used in accordance with these instructions
for use or as instructed by appropriately trai-
ned specialists. SISSEL

GmbH accepts no
liability for the use of the product outside the
applications described in these instructions
for use.
The instructions for use must be kept care-
fully and within easy reach and must be enc-
losed if the product is passed on. Finally, the
regulatory requirements applicable to this
product in the respective country of use must
be taken into account.
2. PRECAUTIONARY INSTRUCTIONS

Check the condition of the product before
each use. If damaged, the function of
the product and safety are no longer
guaranteed. Leaking hot contents can
cause skin burns.

Heat the grain pillow in the microwave or
in the oven. Do not heat the grain pillow in
a water bath or grill.
!
Keep the area of use free from sharp
or pointed objects.
! Do not leave the microwave or oven
unattended when heating the cushion.
Overheating can destroy the cushion, also
there is a risk of fire. Follow the microwave
manufacturer‘s or oven manufacturer‘s
operating instructions carefully.
! After heating shake the grain pillow well.
This way the heat is evenly distributed in
the filling and no heat pockets are created
(danger of burning).
! Never place the grain pillow directly on the
skin. Always use a thin cotton cloth or your
clothing as an intermediate layer to avoid
damage to the skin (e.g. frostbite,
chilblains, burns).
! Check the temperature by gently holding
the grain pillow against the inside of the
wrist.
! Remove the grain pillow immediately if you
feel uncomfortable with the cold or heat.
! Children or people with cognitive impair-
ments should only use the grain pillows
under supervision.
! Leaking, damaged or deflated grain pads
must not be used. Danger of burns.
! The contents of the grain pillow are not
suitable for consumption.
! Only use accessories intended by the
manufacturer.
