If the fire is the remote control version then carefully place the control box in position and re-

connect the burner tray.

Connect the gas supply and tighten the gas connections.

SECTION 8: FUEL BED LAYOUT

Place the ceramic rear matrix onto the burner ensuring that the rear matrix is sitting behind

the two fixed brackets, the back of the matrix rests against the rear of the base plate.

Place front matrix coal support into brackets fitted

Note: Please ensure that the support
brackets are level and that there is a
minimum 5mm gap between the burner
and the bottom of the rear matrix, this
must not be touching the burner as this
will cause the fire to burn incorrectly and
cause damage to the fire and to
malfunction.
