If this is the Remote controlled version of the this fire then

care

is needed when removing

the burner not to damage the wiring system of the fire, you will need to remove the control
box, Heat Shield and battery holder placed at the back of the fire.

SECTION 7.1: PREPARING THE OPENING

Before installing the fire, check the flue for correct operation using a smoke pellet, all of the

smoke should be drawn up the flue and exit correctly from the terminal.

If problems are found

DO NOT

fit the fire until corrective measures have been completed.

Protect the decorative hearth whilst aligning the tray within the opening.Part of the packaging

or a dust sheet can be used.

Before running the gas supply into the opening, offer up the base plate to the fireplace to

check the fit is correct.

Drill 6mm holes through the base plate as shown in the image and fit the Rawlplugs and
screw down base plate.
