Decommissioning
7.1.
Storage and transport
Before storing the Ecoport over longer periods of time, make sure to separate the device from
battery and tank. Seal the tank properly.
7.1.1.
Draining the service fluid
To store the Ecoport for a longer period of time or to prepare it for shipment, the service liquid
can be drained.
7.2.
Disposal
Protect the environment and contribute to saving resources. SIQENS will collect and professionally
recycle your Ecoport. Please contact the SIQENS sales team before you dispose of old devices.
The device must be disposed of in accordance with the administrative regulations in the country of
use. National rules and legislation must be observed.
Draining the service fluid
Mount the aeration and ventilation plug onto
the upper Ecoport valve.
Having the empty service fluid bottle ready,
mount the connector plug onto the lower valve
while its opening faces upwards.
Drain the service fluid completely

Remove the connector plug and, afterwards,
also the aeration and ventilation plugs.
