4.2.
Filling in the service fluid
Starting with version V4, all Ecoport are equipped with a fill and drainage-system for internal
service fluids. The service fluid is a mixture of 83.5% water and 16.5% methanol and is included in
the accessory kit. You can fill in the service fluids before starting the installation.
CAUTION
The Ecoport must be operated, stored, and transported in a horizontal position and
must not be tilted > 10° when filled with service fluid

Insert the plugs
Mount the aeration and ventilation plug onto the
upper Ecoport valve.
With its opening facing upwards, mount the
connector plug onto the lower Ecoport valve.

Filll in the fluid
Using the enclosed tube and funnel, fill all of the
service liquid into the Ecoport and wait until it has
settled.
Remove the connector plug and fill the liquid that
is left in the tube back into the service liquid
bottle.
Remove the aeration and ventilation plug.
