8. A visual inspection of the device and a check of the readability of the product labelling is required before each
use.

12. Depending on the use but every twelve months as a minimum fall arresters have to be inspected by
the manufacturer or by persons trained and authorised by the manufacturer. This inspections has to be
documented in the supplied log book. Effectiveness and durability of the fall arrester depend on regular
inspections.

15. The clearance below the feet of the person using the device has to be at least 2.0m
if the device is attached above the person using the device.
