ACCESS OPTIONS
To prevent an accidental or unauthorized change of the settings the user can set
a single or
MultiLevel Access
protection. Both of them can be activated in the
Access
options
menu.
A Single-level access protection requires to enter a password (see
) in order
to login as the Admin and obtain access to all the settings of the device.
A
MultiLevel Access
protection requires the user to go through the Authentication
) in order to log in and get access to the appropriate permission.
It is done by choosing the user (see
) and passing his password.
A password can be activated in two different ways depending on the level access
protection. In the
Access options
menu by pressing the button next to the
Access
password
label (for single-level mode) or in the
Users list
menu (for
MultiLevel Access
mode) by typing the user's password in the text box (see
). After
closing the text box, in place of the entered password, 8 asterisks will be displayed
independently from the password length.
Removing the password is even easier, it is done by leaving the text box empty. After
that, the field next to the
Access password
label will also be empty.
When the user passes through the login process successfully, on the an opened
padlock with the letter “A” appears on the information bar (if the single level mode is set or the
user is logged as Administrator in the
MultiLevel Access
).
Otherwise a number of user will be displayed (from 2 to 16) instead of opened padlock (see
). Only the administrator can freely configure the unit without restrictions.
Furthermore, the administrator configures other users accounts for
MultiLevel Access
.
Those users can configure the device according to Administrator's restrictions. Entering
an incorrect password or attempt to enter a restricted function will cause denial (see
Only one user can be logged in at a time . The user can be logged out manually by
touching the padlock icon on the information bar and confirming a logout (see
) or
automatically after one minute for the single level mode or after the time set by the
Administrator (in both cases the time is measured from the last user's interaction with the
device).
For the
MultiLevel Access
mode there is a possibility to log in by connecting your
