– Connect the other end of the cable to the electrical panel using
a two-pole disconnect device with a minimum contact gap of at
least 3 mm. The type of automatic switch must be suited to the
heating element being used.

It is absolutely necessary to mount a safety relay.
Note
: According to point 5.10 of the EN 12976-2:2000 standard,
the daily hot water (40°C) load that can be reached by the system
without any addition of solar energy (that is, in only 24 h of opera-
tion of the 2 kW heating element) is maximum 1000 l.

It intervenes whenever the calorifier temperature exceeds 95°C
by stopping the thermostat’s operation to protect the device
against overheating.
Resetting the thermoelectric switch (B)
Activate the main switch. Turn the temperature regulator until
the button of the thermoelectric switch (B) appears and press it
inwards. After the switch returns to the normal operating posi-
tion (inwards), the thermostat will be ready to function.
