9.4 ALIGNING THE DISK WITH THE CUTTING BRIDGE
The VENUS table saws are aligned and thoroughly checked in the factory prior to delivery. If the disk is not
aligned with the cutting bridge for any reason, you should anew align it.
To proceed, you will need steel rod of 4 or 5mm in diameter and approximately 250mm in length, tapered at one
end in the form of tip of pencil (V Fig.12), a piece of ceramic (tile or stoneware) (C Fig.12) and white chalk:
• Unplug the machine from the electricity.
• Remove the disk safeguard and the disk.
• Place the ceramic piece on the cutting table with the enamelled face downwards and fill the central part of the
upper side completely with chalk.
• Place the rod between the disk fixing bridles (Fig.12) so that the sharp tip rubs the piece’s marked area and
tighten the axle nut.
• Move the cutting head so that the rod draws a straight line the tile.
• Then rotate manually the driving motor backwards so that the rod stays in the opposite side. Move once again
the cutting head to the opposite sense to make a new line with the rod. This must overlap exactly with the first
line. If the two lines do not overlap, you have to loosen the 4 screws of the motor platform (V Fig.12) and adjust
the position of the motor until you get the two lines are identical and tighten the screws back.
