Operation and use

Switching the appliance on/oﬀ

♦

Press the

button for 2 seconds to switch the appliance on. The control

lamp of the

button lights up red and

appears on the display .

♦

Press the

button again for 2 seconds to switch the appliance oﬀ.

The display and control lamp of the

button go out.

Adding the food

♦

Place the vacuum bag with the prepared and vacuum-packed food in the
water container . Note that the water level must not exceed the MAX
marking. If required, ladle out the water with a cup.

NOTE

►

The vacuum bags should always be covered with water during operation.
If the vacuum bags ﬂoat to the surface, weigh them down with a suitable
weight (e.g. a plate).

Place the lid on the appliance.

NOTE

►

If you are using the separator grille , place one vacuum bag in each of
the 4 sections. Ensure that all the vacuum bags stand freely in the sections
and are in contact with the water on all sides.

►

The separator grille   is placed across the ﬂoor grille   (see ﬁg. A on the
fold-out page). The feet of the separator grille   stand directly on the ﬂoor
of the water container  .
