DIMM Slot Population
This section describes how you populate the DIMM slots for one or two CPUs with the various
DIMM types.
Note: The ISS3500 has 12 240-pin DIMM slots that support up to 96 GB of DDR3 Registered
ECC or up to 24 GB of Unbuffered ECC/Non ECC 1333 MHz/1066 MHz/800 MHz SDRAM
modules. Do not mix memory modules of different speeds and sizes.
DIMM Module Placement for Optimal Performance
Table 4-1 , Table 4-2 , and Table 4-3 show the proper placement of DIMMs with only CPU1
installed, only CPU2 installed, and both installed, respectively.
