Segmenting and Unsegmenting the Hub

51

When you segment the hub (disable the factory default ten-port functionality), the green
power LED at the top left of the Ethernet socket on the hub’s front panel blinks at high
intensity. At low intensity, this LED indicates that the hub is powered on. Figure 4-5
points out this LED.
