TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
Problem Causes Solution
Motor
humming
but will not
clear toilet
& connected
sanitary
fittings.
Blockage in the unit.
This could be due to
any of the following:
•
Something other
than toilet paper
has blocked the
motor
•
The outlet has
become blocked
Disconnect the unit from the
power supply
Using a siphon, drain the toilet
bowl and the macerating unit.
Remove the bowl and check for
any obstruction
If no impediment is found,
remove the lid of the unit,
remove the rubber tank and
the motor as a single unit from
the case
Undo the clip connecting the
motor to the tank
Loosen the ring of screws on
the motor pump
Remove the blockage
Reassemble the unit by redoing
the above steps in reverse
order
Reconnect and check
Motor runs
inconsistently
Blockage in the
outlet pipe
Lift off the lid and make
sure no foreign objects are
stuck in the check valve.
Insert a short length of
pipe into the outlet and run
it into a bucket.
Flush the toilet to check if
the unit is working properly
without stopping.
