• If it does not, tap on “+ Search for Move Server”. The
app attempts to automatically locate the server in the
network. This process may take a few minutes. Once a
server is located, tap on “+” to select and connect with
this server.
• Make sure that port 4300 is open. If not, the port can be
opened in your operating system’s security settings . Tap
on ‘+ search Move Server’
• If you are unable to connect after several attempts, tap
on “+ Enter data manually” to enter the IP address. This
will only work if you know the IP address assigned to the
Move Server in your network. Enter a name and the IP
address.
Do not change the user name and password during initial
log-on.
3.7.2 Using the Android app to locate and log on
Requirements: The Android device and the Move Server are
connected to the same network. Port 4300 is not blocked.
•
Tap on “Start initial log-on”. You can repeat the search
by tapping on “Search for Move Server”.
• Make sure that port 4300 is open. If not, the port can be
opened in your operating system’s security settings . Tap
on ‘+ search Move Server’
• If you are unable to connect after several attempts, tap
on “+ Enter data manually” to enter the IP address. This
will only work if you know the IP address assigned to the
Move Server in your network. Enter a name and the IP
address, and then tap on “OK”
