Please read these instructions carefully before
using the product for the first time. They will
give you important information for your safety
and the use and maintenance of this SIKU-
CONTROL
product. Keep these instructions
carefully for information or for any warranty
claims.
This SIKU
CONTROL
product has been
designed in accordance with the latest safety
requirements and has been manufactured
under constant quality monitoring. We
incorporate the results of this monitoring in our
development process. For this reason we
reserve the right to technical and design
amendments so that we are always able to
offer our customers optimum product quality.
Nevertheless, should there be reason for
complaint please contact your dealer.
Safety information
This model may only be used for the
pur-
pose intended
, i.e. as a toy
in dry
rooms
. Any other use is not allowed and
may be dangerous. The manufacturer cannot
made responsible for damage caused from
failure to use the product correctly.
Protect model from damp!
For safety reasons the vehicle may not be
used near to slopes, stairs, roads, rail tracks,
waters, fan heaters, puddles, sand pits etc.
Disturbances may be caused by infrared
lights (sunlight, strong lamps with a high per-
centage of infrared light, infrared radiators
and infrared lamps) These sources may lead to
a superimposition of the infrared signal, there-
by considerably reducing the range of the
remote control module.
Ensure that the model is first played with
after the model and remote control module
has been checked and put into operation by
an adult.
The storage battery may only be recharged
by an
adult
.
The model complies with the prescribed
safety legislation (to 88/378/EEC and
89/336/EEC) and is TÜV-GS tested. Dangers
to the user may arise from improper repairs
and structural alterations (dismantling of
original parts, attachment of inadmissible
parts, changes to the electronics etc.)
Infrared technology is used to control the
model. In accordance with the current level of
scientific knowledge no health damage is
known to be caused by infrared light if the
product is used correctly.
