Synchronization
Byte/ telegram synchronisation is made via "time-out": The intervals of
the individual bytes of a telegram must not exceed the value of 10 ms. If a
sensor does not respond, the master may only send another telegram after
30 ms at the earliest.
Telegram example
Master requests position value from sensor 7.
Master sends (hex): 87 16 91
Short telegram to address 7; command 16; check byte 91H.
Sensor replies (hex): 07 16 03 02 00 10
Long telegram from address 7; command 16H; position value 203H = 515;
check sum 10H.
5.5 Zero-Setting
SSI output circuit:
a) SSI operation: Zeroing input (see chapter 4.4 ) can be activated with
+24 V DC (for more than 2 seconds).
b) RS485: By interface command "l" (see chapter 6 ).
RS485 output circuit / SIKONETZ3 protocol:
a) SIKONETZ3 Protocol: Command 48 Hex (see chapter 5.4 )
b) RS485 (Service mode): By interface command "l" (see chapter
6
).
5.6 Measurement range
The "Boundary" parameter is factory-set to the 0 value. This equals a
value range of -120.00 ... 5000.00 mm.
Tape coding
The absolute coding of MBA enables a max. measurement range of
5120 mm.
