During generation of a staircase, a progress bar indicates the state of progress.
The function keys can be used to control generation:

The
key stops generation at any time.
•
The key suspends generation.
•
The
key commences or resumes generation.
•
An icon in the transmission window indicates sus-
pended generation.

Simple Ramp
The simple ramp generation function is used to program a linear variation in one direction
(increasing or decreasing) of the active transmission function.
When this mode is active, the
icon appears ion the transmission window.
The
key is used to launch an increasing ramp and the
function key is used to launch a decreasing ramp.
The default parameters of this mode are displayed on the
left hand side of the transmission window. To change
these parameters, press ENTER or use the
Configura-
tion
Mode…
menus.
The parameters of a simple ramp are:
L:
Minimum amplitude of the signal.
H: Maximum amplitude of the signal.
I:
Amplitude of the increment.
T:
Duration of the ramp in seconds.
Delay:
Delay in seconds between launching the ramp and
the start of transmission.
