OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Wear safety glasses. Stand to one side of the strap when tensioning.

Make sure all bystanders are clear before proceeding.

PLEASE NOTE: Do not operate tool without strap, as damage to the tool may occur.

1. Using a Signode PT manual strap tensioner tool,

encircle the package with strap and tension the
strap as required.

Refer to the Signode PT tool’s operation, parts and
safety manual for proper use of the tool.

2. Squeeze the operator handle of the BTS to open

the upper welding gripper.

3. While holding the operator handle, align the BTS

with the tensioner as shown, slide the nose of the
BTS tool over the upper and lower straps.
