1. Remove the bolted connections of the load cell dummies.
2. The load bearing implement only has to be raised a few millimeters from bracket to
bracket in order to replace the dummies with the compact installation units.
3. Raise the load bearing implement at the first bracket and remove the load cell dummy.
4. Insert the first compact installation unit. The fixing holes are 6 mm larger than the fixing
screws to be used. It is then possible to compensate tolerance errors in the drilling
pattern of the connection dimensions to a certain degree. Remove the eight washers from
accessory kit 2. The fixing holes are covered by these washers. Insert the envisaged
screws and tighten them loosely.
5. Install all of the additional compact installation units as described in 1 - 4.
6. Check whether all bracket plates are resting level on the top plates.
7. Eliminate any unevenness of the brackets by inserting compensation plates (see Table 9-
3 Ordering data of compensation plates (Page 54)).
Note
Do not drag a warped bracket plate with the bolted connections against the base or top
plate. This could result in the fixing of the top plate becoming overloaded, whereupon
some of the top nuts underneath the top plates cannot be loosened.
Make sure that the base and top plates are not concave in the center.
