5.2.4

Installing the load cell in the compact installation unit

DANGER

Death or serious bodily injury
A falling load bearing implement can lead to considerable material damage, serious injury

or death, depending on the potential risk.

NOTICE
Damaging of load cells
Incorrect or incomplete installation can result in damage to the load cells, installed parts

and the load bearing implement.
Observe the warning notices at the start of the chapter, see: Safety information/instructions

Inserting the pendulum support and pressure piece

1.

A pressure piece is present in the load cells RN-S SA 60 kg to 13 t. It is protected against

falling out by adhesive tape. Remove the adhesive tape. Leave the pressure piece in the

load cell.

2.

Remove the pendulum support from accessory kit 1.

3.

Grease the surfaces of the pendulum support bearings using a ball-bearing lubricant.

4.

Place the pendulum support onto the pressure piece in the load cell.

NOTICE
Installation of the pendulum support
In the case of the load classes 60 kg to 280 kg, observe the mounting position of the

pendulum support. The pendulum support is asymmetric. The longer taper of the

pendulum support must be inserted into the load cell.
