Mounting torque arms on bevel gearboxes and helical worm gearboxes
NOTICE
Risk of machine damage due to excessive stress resulting from incorrect installation
Incorrect installation of the torque arm can cause stress on the gearbox housing and thus
damage to the machine.
Mount the torque arm bushing so that it is supported by bearings on both sides.

The torque arm can be fitted in various positions, depending on the hole circle pitch.

For a toggle lever design, derive the force in the range of 90° ±20°.
Procedure
1.
Clean the contact surfaces between the housing and the torque arm.
2. Tighten the bolts to the specified torque.
You have now mounted the torque arm.
