Use case
The RTU3041C uses an analog level sensor to monitor the level of a rain overflow
basin. A digital moisture sensor starts the measurement.
In addition, a digital level sensor (float) is installed, which is activated when a
critical level is exceeded.
At configurable, timed intervals, the RTU3041C switches from sleep mode to
update mode to read the inputs and process the program.
The position determination and the time synchronization of the RTU3041C is done
via GPS.
Via the mobile data network, the RTU3041C connects to the SINEMA Remote
Connect Server and establishes an OpenVPN connection.
Then, the RTU3041C connects to the TeleControl Server Basic and regularly
transmits the current data via the TeleControl Basic protocol.
The OPC UA Client "UaExpert" establishes a VPN tunnel via SINEMA Remote
Connect and can then access the OPC items of the TeleControl Server Basic.
