Counter
Each counter can be used universally by programming events. Each counter has the
following main components:
●
Counter: CxVR includes the current counter value which can be controlled by the events
"Up" (CxTR0), "Down" (CxTR1), "Clear" (CxTR2), "Reload" (CxTR3).
●
Reload: CxRELR includes the reload value.
●
Capture: CxCAPR includes the capture value and can be controlled with the "Capture"
(CxTR4) event.
●
Compare: CxCOMR includes the compare value.

Counter
The counter is a 36-bit counter operated with a cycle of 62.5 MHz. With continuous
incrementing, the counter overflows after about 1099.5 seconds. The overflow is signaled by
setting CxSR.OIF.
The current value of the counter or capture register, which can be selected via CxSR.CSEL,
is compared with the compare register. The result is equal to, greater than or less than and
is mapped by means of CxSR.CE, CxSR.CG or CxSR.CS.
The counter can trigger interrupts in case of counter overflow and compare events.
