4.2 Connecting the HMI device

MP 377 15" Touch daylight readable (WinCC flexible)

Connect the wires on the mains terminal as shown in the following illustration.
Ensure that the wires are connected properly to the correct terminals. Refer to the label of

the sockets on the rear of the HMI device.

Plug in the mains terminal for the power supply of the HMI device into the socket ②.

Connect the mains terminal for the power supply of the fans.

Plug in the mains terminal into the socket ①.

Switching on and testing the HMI device

Conduct a power-up test according to the operating instructions "MP 377 (WinCC flexible)",

chapter "Turning on and testing the HMI device".
Check whether the fan is connected with the correct polarity. If the fans are not connected

properly, they will not start.
