Diagnostics options
You have the following diagnostics options available for the module:

The LEDs of the module
For information on the LED displays, refer to the section LEDs (Page 17).
• Engineering: Diagnostic functions in the "Online and diagnostics" menu
Here, you can obtain information on the selected module:
– General information on the module
– Diagnostics status
– Information on the interface
You will find further information on the diagnostic functions in the online help for
engineering.
• Diagnostic buffer of the CPU
Notes on calling the diagnostic buffer are available in the online help for engineering.
• SNMP
You will find detailed information about the supported functions in the section
Diagnostics with SNMP (Page 35).
• Network management software
With the SINEC NMS network management software, you can read and evaluate extensive
status and diagnostics data and execute administrative tasks.

Requirement
