Agent Event Configuration

System events of the IE switch

On this page, you specify how an IE switch reacts to system events. By enabling the

appropriate check boxes, you specify which events trigger which reactions on the IE switch.

The following options are available:

●

The IE switch sends an E-mail.

●

The IE switch triggers an SNMP trap.

●

The IE switch writes an entry in the log file.

●

The IE switch writes an entry to the Syslog server.

You can configure the reaction of the IE switch to the following events:
Cold/Warm Start

The IE Switch was turned on or restarted by the user.
Link Change

A port has failed or data traffic is being handled again over a port that had previously failed.
