PoE Ports
The RUGGEDCOM RSG2100PF comes standard with two 10/100Base-TX Power over Ethernet (POE) ports powered
by an external power supply. Each port complies with the IEEE 802.3af standard and features auto-sensing and
automatic power off when cables are removed.
PoE ports are located in slots 9 and 10.
The total allowable power budget for all ports is 60 W. If the external power supply is less than 75 W, to prevent
exceeding the power budget, port priorities can be set via the RUGGEDCOM ROS-F operating system to disable
low priority ports when demand is too high. Ports can also be enabled/disabled and placed on a power schedule
to conserve power. For more information, refer to the
