Making Calls

Making External Calls

To call an external party, you have to enter an exter-
nal code before dialing the party’s telephone num-
ber (Prime Line is not active)

On-Hook Dialing

You can make calls while the handset is cradled.
When the called party answers via the speaker,
you can lift the handset to conduct a call or leave
the handset on-hook and conduct the call in speak-
erphone mode (

56).

Lift the handset.

Dial external code and the external number.

Press the Line key.

Dial an external number.

Line ...

Your system can also be programmed so
that you only have to dial the external num-
ber (Prime Line is active).
