Symbols on the Display
User Prompting Via Menus
You can use the following menus to access the fea-
tures and functions of your communication sys-
tem:
Dialog Menu/Call Processing Menu
The Dialog menu is activated when you lift the
handset or begin dialing.
In addition to input requests such as “Please
dial”, you are automatically offered functions
which will help you in your current situation (such
as US:Consult UK:Enquiry, Conference, Callback).
When the symbol (>) appears to the right on the
last line of the display, additional functions are
available for selection. You can scroll through
them with the “Next”
and
“Previous”
dialog keys.
When a function is followed by a question mark,
you can activate the function by pressing the
“OK” dialog key
.
When a text is followed by a colon, you must
make an entry (such as entering a telephone num-
ber).

When you lift the handset to make a call a prompt
telling you to dial appears on the display.
When you call a party who is engaged in another
call you hear a busy signal. The “Callback?” func-
tion appears on the display.
