Check whether the cake is
properly baked
The cakes collapses when
taken out of the oven
The cake has risen more
in the centre then at the
edges
Use a similar recipe from the above table as a
guide
10 minutes before end of the baking time, put a
skewer into the centre of the cake. If the skewer
comes out dry without cake sticking to it, it is ready.
Next time use less liquid in the mixture, or set the
oven temperature about 10

C less. Check the
mixting time, according to the recipe.
Do not grease the sides of the tin. After baking,
separate the cake from the tin edges, with a sharp
knife.
