3.2 Installing the CP

CP 154xSP-1
Operating Instructions, 12/2019, C79000-G8976-C426-05

The ET 200SP system is suitable for installation on a mounting rail according to EN 60715

(35 × 7.5 mm or 35 × 15 mm)
1.

Hang the CPU / the interface module on the mounting rail.

Tilt the CPU / the interface module to the back until the mounting rail release audibly

locks in place.

Hang the CP to the right next to the CPU.

Tilt the CP to the back until the mounting rail release audibly locks in place.

Move the CP to the left until it audibly locks in place in the CPU.

Mount the other base units and modules accordingly.
See manual /3/ (Page 114) for information on this.

Plugging in the bus adapter

NOTICE
Touching the plug-in contacts
Do not touch the plug-in contacts when no bus adapter is plugged in.

Connect the appropriate cable to the bus adapter if you use a bus adapter with optical or

direct electrical or optical connection (without plug).

Plug the bus adapter into the slot of the CP.
