This parameter defines a supervision time (1-59 minutes) for the
interface, which expiration leads to an automatic termination of an active
connection between Master – and Slaveport (of the Active Transmission
Mode), if no data is sent or received via the Master-port in this time
period. Also the time set for the selected slave port is supervised.
The timer is set in minutes, seconds and milliseconds (10 ms resolution),
and expires if no data traffic is recognized during that time.
You can confim the actual setting (5 min --> 05:00:00) either with <ESC>
or set it with the entry of 05:00:00 (please note the format 05:00:00). If
another timeout value is set it´s valid for all other Master-ports.
NOTE! .In individual or master devices, the timeout-time of the master
interfaces must be set greater than the timeout time of the slave
interfaces.The timeout time of the master interfaces in all the slave
devices must be greater than the timeout time of the master interfaces in
the master devices.
To shorten the setting procedure for a time period from 1-59 min only ´
