Notational conventions
italic type
identifies commands and other input within the body
of the text
fixed-width type
used for system output and for text on the monitor
bold type used for emphasis in the body of the text
“quoting” used for references to other chapters, sections or
manuals
keys or key combinations in the body of the text

alerts you to additional information, notes and tips
warning sign indicating that your health, the correct
functioning of your system or the security of your data
