3.8

UPS and load shutdown

This operation will cause the shutdown of the load connected on the output. In parallel versions each

procedure must be carried out on all the UPSs:

open the switch of the load;

open SWOUT, output disconnector;

open SWIN, input disconnector;

open SWBY, by-pass line disconnector;

open the battery cabinet switch/fuse.

The load is no longer powered, and after a few seconds the signal panel will also shut down.

Use a multimeter to check that no voltages are present on the terminal board.

Follow the instructions in the section on START-UP PROCEDURES (see page 38) to restart the UPS.
