Programming buttons and LED indicator
The
Reset
and
Prog
buttons are used to reset the sash position and to program the system.
LED indicator
The LED indicator shows the current status during programming or during operation of the system as follows:

Flashes red/green in alternation
Error after system test or overheating
Flashes red
Calibration and teach-in run
Continuously green
Sliding sash is travelling to OPEN position
Continuously red
Sliding sash is travelling to CLOSED position
Off
Sliding sash is in intermediate position

Sliding sash is locked
Flashes red
MSA400 system is not initialised – e.g. after a power failure
Operating push button
The operating push button is used to trigger functions (open, close, etc.) and is also used during programming.
Infrared remote control (optional)
The supplied infrared remote control is used for operating the system and can be used to control up to a max. of 5 groups
individually or simultaneously (programming required). A group can consist of multiple motorised sliding elements and/or
window elements. Each element in a group must be taught in to the group. Up to a max. of 8 remote controls can be taught in
on one MSA400 system so that the system can be operated by 8 different infrared remote controls.
Wall button
Note:
Wall buttons are not included in the standard scope of delivery. They are additional equipment that must be provided
by the customer.
If a wall button has been installed by the customer, the MSA400 system can also be operated using this wall button.
