6.12
Creating a participant with access profiles
The next step is to record all participants who are to be assigned access authorization
in the access control system. Define one or more access profiles for the participant.
NOTE
Temporary access authorizations only affect access points for which time management
has been activated and which are linked to a time server.
Access points with the
Temporary
connection type only permit unlimited access.
When temporary access authorization is saved, the system checks whether the access
profiles contains only access points with time management. If any of them do not, you will
receive a notification informing you of this.
Getting started
Click the
Tag Management
icon on the toolbar.
The view is divided into the following areas:
•
The top section of the window contains the list of all participants irrespective of whether
they have already been assigned an access profile or tag. The list can be restricted
based on various filter criteria (see chapter
7.2 Editing access authorizations
•
The bottom section records all participants of the access control system along with
their applicable access profiles.
•
Tag management takes place in the top right-hand section. This is where a tag that
has been read by the configuration device is displayed and assigned to a participant.
