Decommissioning

Removing the sensor

1.

Switch off the supply voltage to the sensor.

2.

Detach all connecting cables from the sensor.

3.

If the sensor is being replaced, mark its position and alignment on the bracket or
surroundings.

4.

Remove the sensor from the slot.

Disposing of the sensor

Any sensor which can no longer be used must be disposed of in an environmentally
friendly manner in accordance with the applicable country-specific waste disposal regu‐
lations. The sensor is electronic waste and must under no circumstances be disposed
of with general waste.
