Reading area diagram

The reading area diagram shows the reading width as a ratio of the reading distance for

various resolutions. Disturbing optical effects (distortions) which can occur when the

distance is too great are taken into account when specifying the reading width.

The module width is the narrowest bar of a bar code which is still resolved.
