Fault diagnosis in TEMS Manager
Faults that occur in the AOS301-WWD are divided into two basic categories:
warnings
and
errors
:
•
In the event of a warning, the system remains operational. However, the cause of the
fault must be eliminated as quickly as possible.
•
In the event of an error, the system is still operational in principle. However, monitoring
can no longer be relied on to function correctly.
8.1.1
Warning and fault visualization
In TEMS Manager, warnings and errors are displayed at every level of the hierarchy – i.e.,
at system component level, system function level, road level, and measurement site level.
Warnings and errors at a lower level affect all the superordinate levels.
In the
live view
, attention is drawn to errors and warnings by highlighting the system
components in different colors. The following color coding system applies:
•
Green: System component is ready for operation.
•
Yellow:
Warning
type fault.
•
Red:
Error
type fault.
Colorful icons are also used in the
navigation tree
to indicate whether the system
components are ready for operation. A
gray
icon signals that the current status is
unknown. This is the case during initialization of the AOS301-WWD, for example.
