Replacing the RMS3xx

Defective devices must be replaced immediately.

Description

RMS3xx

▸

Undo all plug or clamp connectors on the RSM3xx and remove the connecting cables
from the device.

▸

Dismantle the defective device.

Loosen and remove alignment screws

▸

Loosen and remove fixing screws.

▸

Lift device out of the bracket notches.

▸

Install and align the replacement device as described in chapter

4.1 Mounting the

RMS3xx



Reconnect all cables and antennas as described in chapter

5 Electrical installation

The replacement device has the same IP address as the defective radar sensor. The
configuration currently saved on the TDC-E can be loaded.

Connect configuration PC with the

Eth1

Ethernet interface.

▸

Start TEMS Manager (see chapter

6.3.1 Starting TEMS Manager

▸

Authorized user

user role or higher.



Click the

Load location configuration

icon.

Once the loading process is complete, all of the system functions and system components
should be green.
