NOTE!

When configuration starts, the radar sensor remains red until a connection has been
established. Depending on the network connectivity, this may take up to two minutes.
•
If the radar sensor remains permanently
red
, it could be that an incorrect IP address
has been assigned to it. The problem could also be caused by a missing or inadequate
voltage supply or poor network connectivity.

6.6.2
Save configuration
To be able to resolve fault situations quickly, SICK Support often needs to have the
current configuration file for the measurement site. This file can be saved onto the hard
drive of a computer so that it can be sent to SICK Support.
The computer must be connected to the TDC-E.

NOTE!
The site configuration can be stored while a configuration is running. The process
for saving a site configuration does not affect the current system status.

Save current site configuration on hard drive
icon in the toolbar.

The download dialog box of the browser opens right away.

Specify storage location for the configuration file. The site configuration is saved in
XML file format
