PORTABLE SELECTIVE MICROPROCESSOR METAL DETECTOR MOLE
Before operation get sure that the search head acquires
the temperature of environment!
MOLE assembling order:
1) Butt electronic unit with a handle and telescopic bar with
the armrest (fig. 25) and screw the nut until it stops (fig.
26);
2) Insert the bracket with the search head connector to the
hand-held unit bar and fix it with the help of clamping lever
(fig. 27).
Checking of operability:
1) Lift up the search head up to the breast level;
2) Switch on the device (the sound signal, indicating the
device’s readiness to operation is heard, short clicks with
the periodicity of 2 sec. appear, showing the operability of
the device);
3) Carry the sample across the search head (fig. 28) and make
sure of audible and visual alarm;
4) Switch off the device, holding the button “Off”
more than for 2 sec.
Setting up the device:
1) Adjust the length of telescopic bar with the help of clamps
(fig. 29);
2) Select the slope angle of search head towards the bar in
such a way, that the search head would be parallel to the
ground surface during the work with the device. This po-
sition should be fixed with the help of clamping lever (fig.
27);
3) Adjust easy-to-use slope of electronic unit and fix it with
the help of the arm (fig. 30);

LCD one of four (MIN, NOM, MAX, AUTO) levels of
sensitivity to ground discontinuity is indicated.
At the right upper corner of LCD in hodograph
mode and in the mode of defining the size and the
distance to the object, one from three pictograms of
the ground type is indicated («Heavy»,«Normal»,
«Light»), it corresponds to the suppression level of
ground mineralization influence.
