Installing the Mud Guard
Mud Guard
Mud guard prevents dirt coming in around the
mouth. Insert the mud guard into a gap(A)
between the shell and the impact absorbing liner
as per Drawing.
*Do not carry or hold the helmet by the mud
guard. The mud guard may come off, causing the
helmet to drop.

To remove the nose cover, remove the screw
(Drawing 1), pull it as per Drawing 2, and lift the nose
cover slightly.
To install the nose cover, align the flange on the lower
part of the cover with the shell as per Drawing 3, and
fix the screw.
* The nose filter inside the nose cover is removable.
Before fixing the nose cover, check that the filter is
aligned correctly and there is no gap (Drawing 4).

The neck outlet can be removed for cleaning. To
remove, pull the center tab of the plate as per
Drawing A and pull right and left tabs of the plate.
To install, insert the right and left tabs of the plate
into the gap between the shell and the impact
absorbing liner. Insert the center tab into a bracket
turning the bottom beading over as per Drawing
B. Check that the neck outlet is fixed as per
Drawing C.
