9-4-2 VERIFICATION OF OPERATION

(1)

Trigger Mode selection

Set the Trigger Mode to Auto Trigger referring to "7-9 TRIGGER MODE SELECTION" on

page 52.

(2)

Input of Reference Voltage

Make the input form the synthesizer a 2Vpk-pk amplitude sine wave voltage. The offset

voltage differs as follows depending on specifications.

Make the input frequency 100% of the value indicated on the monitor name plate.

Resetting OK (input abnormal alarm)

Input the reference voltage from the synthesizer.

Reset more than 15 sec. after input of the reference voltage to release OK (input abnormal

alarm) (in self-holding alarm reset mode).

In auto-reset mode, OK is reset automatically after approx. 15 sec.

Verification of Recorder Output

Measure the recorder output with a DMM, and verify that it agrees with the input value from

the function generator and lies within the tolerance range.

Measure the recorder output with a DMM, and verify that it agrees with the input value from

the synthesizer and lies within the tolerance range.
