5-4. Using the Lamp Fitting
WARNING: ELECTRIC SHOCK
Do not touch this tower light during operation if it or your body is wet.
CAUTION: INJURY/BURNS
To change the direction of the lamp fitting, hold the lamp fitting lever with one
hand and support the lamp fitting while loosening the fixing handles (rotation
and tilt handles).
Do not touch the lamp, lamp guard or ballast when the lamp is lit up or
immediately after being turned off because they are extremely hot.
Do not adopt an unnatural posture when adjusting the direction of the lamp
fitting.
(1) Adjusting the Lamp Fitting Right/Left Rotation
Hold the lamp fitting lever with one hand and
loosen the rotation handle.
Move the lamp fitting lever to adjust the
direction to the right or left, and tighten the
rotation handle.
Tighten the rotation handle again by using
both hands and securely fix the lamp fitting.
(2) Adjusting the Lamp Fitting Tilt Angle
Tilt the lamp fitting as necessary according to the application. Place the lamp fitting to
horizontal when storing.
<Note>
Use at an incline angle within a range of 45°
from vertical due to the wind receiving area
increasing when placed horizontally.
Hold the lamp fitting lever with one hand and
loosen the tilt handle.
Move the lamp fitting lever to adjust the tilt
angle and tighten the tilt handle.
Tighten the tilt handle again by using both
hands and securely fix the lamp fitting.
<Note>
Be careful not to forget to tighten the tilt handle because it might seem that the lamp fitting
is secure because the weights of the auxiliary spring and lamp fitting are balanced even
though the tilt handle is not actually tightened. Be especially careful not to forget to
tighten at the vertical position.
