14. Troubleshooting
WARNING: ELECTRIC SHOCK
Do not touch this tower light during operation if it or your body is wet.
Be sure to always stop the engine before performing any check or
maintenance of the lamp and other parts.
CAUTION: BURNS
Do not touch the lamp, lamp guard or ballast when the lamp is lit up or
immediately after being turned off because they are extremely hot.
Use the following table to inspect the tower light when operation is poor or faulty. Please
contact the authorized distributor where this tower light was purchased or one of our sales
offices if you cannot solve a problem after performing inspection.
Symptom Possible Causes Remedy
Lamp does not light up
Output switch is "OFF" Turn the Output switch to "ON"
Lamp was turned on again right after
being turned off
Wait approximately 15 minutes
after turning off the lamp for it to
cool before turning it on again
Ballast is not compatible with the
lamp
Replace with a compatible lamp
Lamp is loose Securely tighten the lamp
Lamp deterioration Replace the lamp
Lamp is dark
Lamp deterioration Replace the lamp
Balloon fabric is dirty
Wipe away any dirt or grime
(cannot be scrubbed)
Replace the balloon fabric
Balloon fabric does not
inflate
Large tear in the balloon fabric Replace the balloon fabric
Fan does not operate Repair
Balloon fabric is wet
Dry the balloon fabric before
using
Balloon fabric only inflates
slightly
Zipper is open Close the zipper
