Adjustment procedure

1) Set the scale on the document table as shown below. (Use a

long scale for precise adjustment.)

2) Set the copy magnification ratio to 100%. 

3) Make a copy on A4 or 8

4) Measure the length of the copied scale image. 

5) Calculate the horizontal copy magnification ratio.

6) Check that the actual copy magnification ratio is within the

specified range (100 

±

1.0%).

If it is out of the specified range, perform the following proce-
dures. 

7) Execute simulations 48-1, and select the horizontal copy

magnification ratio adjustment mode.

The set horizontal copy magnification ratio will be displayed
in the COPY QUANTITY display.

This simulation allows the vertical copy magnification ratio
adjustment and the horizontal copy magnification ratio ad-
justment.

Selection is made by the density select key.

8) Enter a new horizontal copy magnification ratio with the copy

quantity set key and press COPY button. The above proce-
dure changes the lens home position and the horizontal copy
magnification ratio. 

When the copy magnification ratio is set to a larger value, the
actual copy magnification ratio becomes larger. 

When the copy magnification ratio is set to a smaller value,
the actual copy magnification ratio becomes smaller.
