Protecting the Images
Available in

mode
You can protect your important images
recorded on the card from accidental erasure.
Selecting one image

Set the Mode Dial to “
w
”, then power
the camera.

to select the image to be
protected.

Press the MENU button until the menu
screen appears.

to select “
w
”, then press
the SET button.

to select “PROTECT”,
then press the SET button.

to select “ONE IMAGE”,
then press the SET button.

Press the SET button to protect the
image.
• The protection icon appears in the
status bar.
• To protect another image, press

to select the image, then press the SET

When you select a protected image in step 7,
the following screen appears. Press the SET
button to cancel protection.
