This function allows you to take the same
scene with three different exposure settings.
The camera automatically takes three succes-
sive images while changing the exposure value
for each image slightly.

Select “BRACKET” in SHOOTING
MODE menu (see page 24).

to select the exposure
value for brighter and darker images,
then press the SET button.

Press the Shutter button half-
way down to focus on the
subject.

Press the Shutter button fully to
capture the image.
• The camera shoots three
successive images at three
different exposure values.
Below is an example of the effect you can
excpect.
Notes:
• This function cancels after one capture
sequence. To use AE Bracketing again, perform
the above steps again.
• See page 41 to read “About Exposure Value”.
• ±0.5EV may result in a suttle difference while
±2.0EV result in stronger contrast between
pictures.
